I really enjoyed this movie on AmazonPrime (it's also on Youtube). It's an endearing encounter by 2 people our age who look back over the years and question a lifetime of marriage. Mostly comedy but a little drama that makes it real.
It was rated R for one funny drug scene and sexuality...but that's wrong. There was absolutely no sexuality unless they mean one stand-up, fully clothed quick kiss. No bad language either.
I like Andy Garcia (now age 63) because I've only seen him play a gentleman's role. And I do love a man who treats a woman with respect. He kind of bounced off Vera Farmiga's energy (now age 46). She did an excellent job of acting, very natural, very real, and held the movie together.
It only took them 28 days to make the movie at Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington...a very pretty campus. Andy Garcia's son and Vera Farmiga's daughter played significant rolls in the movie.
