Senior transport van in the works

I saw a member of the village board in the grocery parking lot this morning. She mentioned they are trying to get a senior van program started to take elderly people (that can't drive or have vision problems) around town and to nearby venues. That sounds nice, but I think I've heard this before some years ago, so I'm not holding my breath on this one. Nearby Mechanicville has that service, but they won't extend it 2 extra miles to Stillwater.

We have senior transport here. Through the bus service. They do on call, as well as every Tuesday they do a grocery store run

yes we have a city operated bus but you need 2 weeks notice to them to
get a ride to shopping, etc...and costs 2 bucks per trip each way also...so
I don't use them....
