Serious cold snap coming through the US

Anyone here living in one of the states where the mail, schools, banks etc is going to be closed down due to the weather? Take care everyone. I have a friend in Wisconsin, around Madison who is keeping me up to date on her area. Our oldest grandson in Iowa is really having it cold and his whole family gets to stay home but he has to go out at night and work.

typical Texas weather!

I moved to Texas from Fairbanks Alaska and still get a good laugh out of how the news media inflates the winter storms
when back home we revel in the "cooler" weather!
