...and the Bump...do you remember the bump.?.. ''Kenny'' released a song about it...I recognized everything mentioned in the clip
My friends and I learned how to do the Hustle back in the 70's,during the'disco craze'
sorry about the knuckle..but oh yes I had all of those..Tank Tops and long collars on shirts and cheesecloth and Flared trousers and jeans. I have a broken knuckle from tripping over my flares![]()
sorry about the knuckly..but oh yes I had all of those... . we went from one season in hotpants and knee-high suede platform boots, , to the winter season in Maxi dresses and coats.. awww good times, they say the 70's was the decade style forgot, I think it was the greatest fashion era of all time...
Oh I wore hot -pants all the time during the summer of 1970 and '71. I worked in Chelsea girl for a whole summer , and they were actually the uniform at the time believe it or not... but aside from that they were the fashion for us young teens, and so we all wore them. I never took any notice of any older people giving me nasty looks..I went to a works party in the 70's and wore hot pants and a lace gypsy top and fishnet tights...You should have seen the looks I got from the guests........and the women were not impressed but the men liked it from their glances My Hubby liked my garb so that's all that mattered.

Yes LOL>..it was called Jason King... the star was Peter Wynegard...he didn't do anything for me, because he was about the same age as my father.. or perhaps my mother.. but either way..too old.
..yep we did all that too. My handle was Midnight dancer..OMG!! I remember CB Radio and it was the in-thing here. We had a setup and along dipole aerial on the house roof and we all had our User Handles And mine was Sidewinder. There was a local CB Radio club and off we went to join in the other CB Radio enthusiasts. Hubby put an aerial on our car and we'd drive along saying ONE FOUR FOR A COPY and wait for someone to come in and then there were the Networks and we'd chat on those. Of Course the craze wore off but it was fun. Looking back it all seems so dated and it is, isn't It? Happy days![]()

We used to have foxhunts one Sunday a month, and the club would have dances several times a year, and we'd all drive in convoy to the coast on some weekends.. we even went to Belgium and France a couple of times
