Severe weather warning for Perth

Strong winds overnight, plenty of rain.
As I drove to work this morning at 5am, street lights were out, trees were down, I almost hit a downed tree, never saw it in the darkness, swerved and missed it by 2 feet?
Heavy rain and still people tailgate. Fools that they are. I slowed right down to give them a message, "Back off idiot"

Perth rarely get bad weather. No floods, cyclones, landslides. No tsunami's
We have some wild fires on the outskirts, plenty of +100 degree days, but we are used to that.
