Do you use it?

A woman over here hasn't used any shampoo
for two years and reckons her hair has never
been better.

Full Story Here.

Mike.

It's true what she says about most commercial shampoos. They're formulated to "add thickness" to your hair, and they do that by laying down a lot of goop onto the shaft to give the illusion of fullness. They're also stuffed with enough chemicals to choke a horse.

Unfortunately, I still use baby shampoo. I figure it's one of the least offensive ones out there.

I use whatever soap I'm using on the body showering such as Ivory /Dove and at this age I still have a full head of hair.

So I think Im doing something right.:)

I use shampoo, a couple times a week, usually to take chemicals out of my hair (swimming, etc.) .. my current favorite is John Frieda collection.
but that changes from time to time ...

I don't shampoo very often anymore, but when I do, I use cheap dish washing liquid. Works great.

I also stopped using soap on my skin when I shower. Heard (or read, rather) about that from some big name fashion model. She said you don't need soap in the shower, water is enough to get you perfectly clean. Turns out, she was right. Besides, soap dries out your skin. I use a little of the lather from my hair to wash my pits, & me "bits & pieces" & that's all.

Get clean as a baby, too.

I use cheap Suave coconut shampoo, and Suave green apple conditioner. I tried more expensive brands, but not impressed. The cheap stuff does the job. I've heard of people not using shampoo before, but it's not for me, especially after a sweaty workout or doing yard work, etc.
