She Walked 14 Miles to Work. Then She Got a Surprise Tip

Nice story..

There was a simialr story last year about a guy who never missed a day work even in snow and walked 18 miles every day to work for years, until a good samaritan bought him a car!! :)

That's what this story reminded me of. Those are the kind of people who deserve to be helped, not the ''woe me'' type of people who won't get off their asses and blame their predicament on everyone but themselves.
 

If I owned a company I would hire her now regardless of her work history. Anyone that determined to succeed is trainable for nearly anything. I would also assist with her education cost. In short, I would be investing in a sure thing

But I'd think a co-worker, neighbor, somebody could have at least helped her with rides or even partial rides to/from work or a small loan for a junky but functional car. Walking 14 miles everyday seems unfathomable.
 
That's quite the walk to do every day.... I might have been able to when I was younger but it seems nearly impossible now... But what a nice couple! Heartwarming...
