Are they Tiger Lillies? A lovely colour.

I thought tiger lilies were orange.

They are Mystery or Resurrection lilies and aren't really lilies. Relative of amaryllis. The leaves die back then the flowers come up on empty stems. Those look really nice.

You are welcome. I see them in my seed catalogs and have wondered about them. Looks like they bloom after other lilies are done. Very pretty.

True - the tiger lilies out in back finished blooming a month ago and are now just dry stems.

The long stamens kind of remind me of amaryllis that's about all. Otherwise they look like lilies to me.
