Shelly Duvall has died.

She was best known as Danny's mother in The Shining and as Olive Oyl in the movie version of Popeye. She was 75. R.I.P.

Always admired this kooky lady. I read she died of diabetes complications. My guess is, due to a recent experience of waking up with a blood sugar of 32, that that is what happened with her. Born the same year as me. My people have been leaving me, gradually, suddenly, whatever. Kinda scary.
