When older men With a little money go looking for younger "hot" women, they are very likely to get the gold digger they deserve.
Hey Graham, most people are not sufficiently to each other's "liking" to build a romatic relationship. It takes time and effort to find someone who is. No reflection on you at all.A very good friend of mine once told me that a girlfriend of mine..., would move on if she found someone more to her liking than I was.
Most men too, I believe.Never forget that most women, NOT ALL, want MORE. More money. More clothes. More shoes. Better cars, Bigger and better homes. More. Always MORE !
Ah, I see, you are speaking from your own experiences. which would appear to have been unfortunate ones. Time for you to regroup, rethink and reassess the situation before making the next move, as my late grandfather, a retired army general used to say to us rugrats, as he marched us around the garden on a wild goose chase. He was such fun!Yes, as I said, many women can take care of themselves. That is, however, a far cry from being able to take care of oneself and having greater access to money. Never forget that most women, NOT ALL, want MORE. More money. More clothes. More shoes. Better cars, Bigger and better homes. More. Always MORE ! (Women, use the euphemism 'security' instead of money.)
It's ironic that in an effort to provide greater "security" he works ever harder and longer hours. THEN, she gets upset that he is rarely around to support her emotional needs.
I don't believe i ever heard of unreal Housewives. Is that a TV show.?Ah, I see, you are speaking from your own experiences. which would appear to have been unfortunate ones. A word in your ear, stop watching (Un)Real Housewives. Not only do they convey the wrong message, they are the stuff of nightmares.
It's amazing how people can have such divergent life experiences. The men I hung out with couldn't have cared less about clothes , shoes etc. Now that I think about it, I can't recall a single guy who gave any thought to buying new clothes. My pals wore Levi's, boots, T-shirts, a jean jacket and an old cowboy hat. Period !Most men too, I believe.
Substitute "younger men/women" for "younger women" and this could apply to most anyone.
A very good friend of mine once told me that a girlfriend of mine who was unable to move on following the breakdown of her marriage, (her husband leaving after a long term affair all carried on behind her back), would move on if she found someone more to her liking than I was.
Don't worry, you'll find someone one day, Mr Higgins! (from My Fair Lady)I don't believe i ever heard of unreal Housewives. Is that a TV show.?
As for me, I'm well passed an age where I might consider another relationship. Besides, I'm now "invisible". There was a time when women noticed me, but now it's as if I'm invisible
Not too likely with his attitude about women....Don't worry, you'll find someone one day, Mr Higgins! (from My Fair Lady)
I had a funny dream last night about said ex girlfriend where I'd visited their house with someone else, stayed the night though she wasn't there, and her normally very tidy house had bedding strooned about especially up the stairs. Someone did then appear but I didn't recognise the woman and assumed it was my ex girlfriends mother!Hey Graham, most people are not sufficiently to each other's "liking" to build a romatic relationship. Mmm, but if an "alpha male" this may win over a good many(?).Not too likely with his attitude about women....
