I still prefer them to many I've seen recently.

We had one but usually ended up with an angel as a tree topper.

I remember having one. I also remember it sitting on top of the aluminum tree. Oh, and let's not forget the color wheel that sat in front of the tree.

Glad when I finally convinced my Dad that Christmas trees were green. He ditched the color wheel and bought an artificial green tree.
