Shool Attack in Walla Walla, Wa

In my opinion, things like this fall on the shoulders of the parents. The school systems seem to have been sanctioned to raise todays kids, because it seems parents have too many other things to do. Each child is an individual who's needs are better recognized by a full time caretaker than one who either sees them in a classroom or only for dinner and the weekends. How does this get fixed?

I think first you have to get the parents to accept the concept of responsibility and accountability, both for themselves and for their children, i.e., Little Johnnie is NOT getting Fs because the teacher doesn't like him; he's getting Fs because he doesn't care about school and refuses to try, and yes, Little Johnnie just might have started that fight.
