Shots Fired Munich Germany Shopping Center. Breaking

The internet and tv is saying multiple deaths but not talking about different locations yet. Also reports that target/s in the mall were US companies?
 
And now the story has morphed into yet another tragic story of a teenager who snapped after being bullied and harassed and hounded:(. This is so sad. I feel for the kids who he killed and feel for the loneliness and fear that he must have felt that inspired him to lash out like he did.
 
I mean...I don't know if bullying...I don't quite know how to word what I'm trying to say. I mean I was bullied mercilessly as a kid, but they called it character building in those days. Now I've always harbored "Carrie"-like revenge fantasies... Bullying can certainly drive someone to suicidal thoughts. But to go out and intentionally open fire on complete strangers? That comes from a place a whole lot darker.
 
Sadly nothing to brag about but at least the US school shooters/killers tend to go to the perceived source of their problems ie the school, it's more personal. The Munich killer and the Norway guy went after strangers. Something's different unless they just totally hated and/or resented childhood. But again why not go to THE source. Why waste your life, time, effort and resources on strangers. I want revenge to count and those receiving my wrath to know why they were chosen as last thoughts.
 
Perhaps to the killer, all children represented those who made his childhood hell. That level of trauma often leaves one open to huge perceptual distortion, wherein archetyes replace individuals.

What you say makes sense, but face it, anyone who is mentally hurting to this kind of degree isn't exactly thinking coherently. Besides, most of his victims were teenagers and he did post on his FB page that McDonalds was having a special offer (free food) which would appeal to other teens. Maybe the kids that tormented him tended to hang out in that area so he thought this was a good way to get his tormentors (or reasonable facsimiles) in one place at one time.

The latest story now is that he targeted those of Turkish and Arab descent.

Still questions here. Where did he get a gun in Germany? Black Market requires money and some knowledge.
