Should I change my 25% estate lawyer???

You said you have a very simple will/estate. No close family. No complicated beneficiary dealings. Nothing complicated. Some CD/MM funds to be dispersed between a few charities when you pass away.

You could do this on the back of a napkin and have it notarized and be fine.

According to another site you posted that you have been through 3 different attorneys. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist do this. You just list what you want done with your estate. They put it in a legal document, memorialize it and it’s done. What are you worried about? You have been posting the same thing for 2 years. You are probably driving these poor attorneys crazy.

Sir, I didn't have 3 lawyers and I didn't drive anybody crazy! I had 2, the first one was my first and only one until she retired. Then I hired the present one. This explanation is not for you but for the rest of the thread so as to clean myself from your slander. The rest of your post isn't worth my time to answer.

Check with your state bar assocation. They should have a list of lawyers in your area that specialize in estate law. You can winnow it down from there with outside research.

Thank you very much Lethe, I will contact the Bar Association inn my city. :)

Hi again Ken N Tx, I went to my >setting >preferences and checked all links that allow to send me alerts, etc. but still not doing it - I had to come to the forum again and found several more new answers. Too bad, as i always answer every single person who's so kind enough as to take the time to help me. Any other ideas? Thanks a lot.

Not sure my suggestions are helpful, but here goes=

1. Do a search on YELP.com

2. If you have available or are a member of Nextdoor.com, you can ask for recommendations from your nearby neighbors. I'm a member of one and my neighbors's recommendations are immensely helpful. https://nextdoor.com I managed to find two good doctors, a handyman, and an electrician through their recommendations from personal experience.

Thank you very much I will go and find out about them. It sounds like a great idea. :)

Oh Mathjak, did I miss your important info on this page? Or you added it after I had answered you? I'm happy to see they have an office in Manhattan, is this their main office? If so it's great as I live in Manhattan. I'll call them, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hi again Ken N Tx, I went to my >settings >preferences as you so kindly advised and I checked only 3 boxes under “Content” (per your screenshot) but still not doing it - I had to come to the forum again and found several more answers. Shouldn’t I check all 5 boxes instead? Anyway too bad, as I never leave any replies unanswered. Any other ideas please? Thanks a lot.
P.S. However, this particular thread should be closed as I have been already nicely helped! :)
