Should the Queen be the Last Ruling Monarch?

When I was a small boy I remember seeing the Queen taking the salute at trooping of the colour and thought, what a magnificent lady and still do. Couldn't have been easy riding side saddle.
 

What's even more impressive is when the Queen was shot at in 1981.. she was riding side saddle and she was able to control her horse immediately....and carried on with no more problems. Here is prince Charles looking back at that Parade while talking of the great bravery of his mother.. and her complete affinity with horses..
