I really like that matt black finish. Based on what I know about ceramics, that's extremely hard to achieve, at least with that level of evenness, coverage, and consistency.
I'd love to see it trimmed in silver. I bet the impact would be entirely different. Cold and austere instead of warm and inviting, for example.
