I'm 79 living alone and nothing necessary to do. I notice most forums have thousands of replies. I hate trying to jump into something that sounds interesting but has that many replies already. Don't have time to read thousands of replies to be update on where the thread has gone.

HI Bocco...feel free to join in any conversation that takes your fancy...

Hey @Bocco... welcome! I wouldn't really worry about hundreds or even dozens of replies that were given before you arrived. Just give your own thoughts and I can't see that anyone would find fault with that even if someone had said the same before. Enjoy your time with us! Coffee? :coffee:

You will be surprised, I went back and read old posts just to get to know people and there personlaties, problems, health issues. It kept me transfixed for months. Now, I feel like I kind of know everyone here. The conversations just flow, you do not feel alone or struggling anymore.

Welcome here- I am still sort of new here and I go to the new posts every morning.
I have worked with vets for 40 years , (as a volunteer advocate), and I am a Christian too....and I too, am old. There is something here for everyone! It is a great way to start the day!

I live 2,200 feet above sea level in the beautiful hills of NY. As soon as the temps hit 13, I am going out. Sun is melting the snow.

Welcome Bocco!
You will find that on this forum many discussion topics stay fairly short. Day to day it is unusual for one topic to last very long, as someone always seems to have something different to talk about. This is the only forum that I participate in and I never feel that I have to catch up or anything like that.

Jump on in, the water is fine!

Welcome to the Senior Forums, @Bocco. Don't worry about reading the really long threads, unless you want to. Just look into whatever catches your fancy.
