Is there a reason we're being asked to do this? I am uncomfortable being asked for personal information on a forum that's viewable by non-registered, public viewers, so will decline for privacy reasons.

No problem. Just curiosity as we are so diverse. But your location is already known (I won't put my village name).
 
I can understand the curiosity, but just be careful folks. If you provide your real name, spouse's name, age, actual location, it would be easy for someone to search your town's tax or voter registration records to find more information about you, even with just your first name. Just use caution about how much identifying detail you post about yourself. Posts on this forum are open to the public and viewers don't need to register to view the posts or your profile (unless you change profile security settings).

True. One must be careful, especially on an open forum.
 
Florida has thousands of seniors, I don't worry about that. I am Manatee and my wife is Mrs Manatee.

We have 4 kids, 13 grandkids, and 5 (will be 6, in 2 weeks) great grands and all but 1 grandson and his wife, live within a 100 miles of us.
