After many months of speculation Sinead O'Connor's cause of death has been revealed.
It was variously speculated by some that she died from suicide, others that she died of a broken heart after her teen son took his own life . It was clear she had serious mental health issues ... but today it has been revealed
... she died from 'exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma together with low-grade lower respiratory tract infection.'
Sinéad's ex-husband #1 John Reynolds had formerly registered her death last Wednesday in Lambeth, and it was certified by Inner South London senior coroner Julian Morris.
O'Connor - who still gets 4.8M monthly listeners on Spotify - had been found 'unresponsive' after police were called to her flat in Herne Hill.
