Hello:
For the past months or so, I've been dealing with sleeping-issue which affects my daily activities along with sluggish feeling in the morning. I took a sleeping pill and Melatonin 3 mg., however after 3 hours' sleep, I am not able to fall back sleep.
Is there any, good sleeping aid for a good-nite sleep?
Thanks,

Have you talked to your doctor?
Not sure how much help i can be, it has been decades since i've had trouble sleeping unless some particularly stressful situation going on and even then, its never more than one night.

I meditate and that works for me, tho i was an insomniac till in my late 20s/early 30s.Indon't even have trouble going back to sleep in winter when i get up to tend the fire every 2-3 hrs.

If your main problem is falling back to sleep give to thought to when you doze off unexpectedly. Reading? Playing certain video games? Watching tv? You Tube actually has several video channels that have sound and images conducive to sleep. Ocean sounds, rain, thunderstorms.

GABA
And, you can take up to 10 mg.of melatonin.

try concentrating on one finger at a time , counting to 10 for each finger.. wipe all other thoughts out of your mind.. only think about counting.. I guess its similar to counting sheep. But it works for me 98 percent of the time.

I have heard sleep aids can have that rebound. Fall asleep fast but wake in 3-4 hours and that's it. Awake.

I used to use Benadryl but I've been told by a pharmacist its's not a good drug, so I didn't take it again.

Lavander helps me a bit. But I don't think it would work for real insomnia. This must be hard.
