Small lovely things in your day

I wanted to make a thread just to share small things that makes us feel happy.

Today is rather dismal and dreary looking outdoors. I was just sitting here reading threads and my Dad called. We talked and at the end of the conversation he said " Do you need anything?" I told him I was just fine. We hung up. Then I was thinking how sweet it is my father heading towards 100 years old is asking me if he can do anything for me. I find that so touching and sweet. So, that's my lovely thing for today.

That was a lovely and very sweet thing. I guess no matter how old your Dad gets you will always be "Daddy's Little girl".
 
That was a sweet moment you had with your dad Blunderwoman. Very sweet and you're lucky to have a dad that makes you feel like 'his little girl' still!

And with a trio of kitties, well what's not sweet about that eh?

Wish I had something to contribute to the 'sweetness collection' but it's been one of those days and absolutely nothing stands out! Maybe tomorrow.
 
It was a good day cause our grandson (almost 22) came down out of the mountains and visited with us a few hours. For awhile we sat out at the fire pit (didn't have a fire going though) and he held our tiny dog close to his heart for a long time. Minnie Mouse used to be his dad's dog and today was 10 months since his dad died. I'm glad he came to spend the time with us.

Blunderwoman, you are blessed to have such a caring dad. Does he live very far from you?
