SMS message sent to relatives of missing flight MH370

MALAYSIA Airlines has revealed the co-pilot of flight MH370 was flying the Boeing 777 for the first time without a so-called “check co-pilot” looking over his shoulder.
The disturbing development comes as the Malaysian Government overnight conceded that the plane plunged into the southern Indian Ocean, killing all 239 people on board.
The following SMS message was sent to relatives: “Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived ... we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the southern Indian Ocean.”

At this time nobody knows what actually happened. Everyone is guessing. Here's a guess nobody mentions often. A tragic event which took place on the Boeing 777. Both the pilot and co-pilot acted heroically, but unfortunately even with their extraordinary efforts, none were saved.
 
I agree with Lois that, absent any positive proof, no one yet knows what happened. At the least this is a bit of a premature annoucement, probably designed to give false closure to the victim's families.
 

Did you all notice that mob scene when all the relatives came thru the door after being told that massage?
The media was havig a field day in that hallway,shoving,pushing to get good pictures and audio of those poor folks trying to leave the building and you wonder why I hate the news media.
 
I think the media is out of control as well. They have repeatedly shown that they'll stoop to new lows to get a story, they show no remorse or even a shred of basic humanity, yet they are held as gods to be listened to and obeyed.
