Snowstorm and Icy Cold Weather in the Northeast US

They report the news better. :p I just go for the page that loads quickest for me (dial-up). :bashcomp:

Well, the Niners/Packers game should prove interesting . . .

Oh, that's Iceketball - a new national sport in Japan. Hats and shoes are mandatory, tutus are optional. The idea is to throw or kick the ball into a sperm whale's blowhole before the opposing team can club 20 walruses.

In this picture, the offensive center for the Osaka Sperm-Busters is going for the goal while the defensive clubber from the Hiroshima Hitters is attempting a diving deflection.

Last one on the left - looks a LOT like Dimples LaRue, a feature dancer we had at the club a few years ago. She would dance on a specially reinforced piano to the tune of Tip-Toe Through The Tulips while twirling two batons that had been set aflame ...

Lots of times this is the only way we know what the weather is like with photos.. when your down in Australia and
have relatives in USA who are having these weather problems its great that we can see and know what is happening..
I`m just so glad that one newspaper does the news like this whatever country it is in.. sorry for you folks having it so cold.
hope it all passes soon and it will start to warm up and be lovely weather for you all..

Watched the Beeb news late last night and even they had more about the US weather than their own flood problems. (At least the version that made it to air here did.) Even Al Jazeera interrupted their live transmission from the usual combat zones to show some icy footage.

But I keep hearing "coldest weather for over 20 years." It gets like that 'normally' every so often?

^^^as for those Mohrons, I hope they're not so stupid as to try that during this current weather phenomena or it may very well be their last one.

Infant polar bears? Explains the lack of hair.

Actually people who can do this will save a lot of money on their heating bill because any temperature above freezing will feel warm to them. That seems to be a rare ability to feel the cold but not feel cold-for the time being anyway. Can you distinguish from sensing or feeling THE cold or knowing when you are actually cold?
