Snowy across the bay

Morecambe Stone Jetty with cafe and lighthouse with snowy Lakeland Fells 25 miles beyond. Taken this afternoon.
The old lighthouse dates from 1855 and formerly guided railway ferries sailing between Morecambe and Ireland.

Exquisite! I love good B&W photography, my sister was a professional photojournalist and worked extensively in B&W. I took up photography as a hobby for a while, but just don't have the "eye" for good B&W. I was okay with color, and she taught me how to crop my photos for more impact.

You have an excellent eye for composition. Thanks for posting this, a real pleasure to look at!
