So, Do You Have Enough Soap? :)

I was almost out of bar soap, so I bought one. Was running low on dish detergent, so I bought a larger-sized bottle.
Stocking up isn't an option, as I have nowhere to store anything extra.
Yes same here. I try to buy square bottles of anything. They take up less room. Or I refill the bottles I am using. And I like plastic bottles. Glass stuff and me don't like each other. When I drop one it shatters and then the pieces keep showing up long after the break. I still can't figure out where they come from. I sweep. I vaccurm and then I'll wake up at night and there's something shiny and it's a piece of glass from two weeks ago.
I have a sign on my wall. Everything Must Fall.

I suspect that's a problem quite a few people have.. much as they'd like to have some extra items in, they just don't have space for it.. we're lucky to have plenty space here so we've been able to stock up on staples, like Washing up liquid.. TP.. etc..

I have a pack of 5 bars of Soap, 4 dispenser bottles currently in use of soap ... 4 more stored.. and a Large bottle of Bath soap which now I'm dispensing into the soap dispenser.

I live in an apt. and don't have a lot of storage inside so I put stuff on the window sill in the bathroom. I am thinking of getting something else for inside the bathroom for storage but it has to be a small size. I guess one thing that I'm lucky for is having enough closets here, though. I am using one for items that I can stock up just a bit on as there's not a whole lot of space.

I have installed shelves everywhere ? They are pre assembled and easy to install .

I've never tried the foamy but have heard from many that they like it.
I think the foamy type is good too, and maybe the dispensers don't use quite so much, and it isn't wasteful, (some makes though can be exorbitantly expensive).
BTW I thought the thread title was "Do you have enough sleep" and I was going to reply, "Yes thank you! ". :D.

I'm deriving the benefit of being a hoarder prepper.

I buy in bulk, on sale. I have bars of Ivory, bars of Dove (I alternate) and a couple of bars of Castille (in case the winter dries my skin out.) I also have 2 or 3 of the 60 oz. liquid soap refills that I use for the dispenser at my kitchen sink. If I had to, I guess I could use dish and laundry detergent in a pinch. No real reason why not.

That sounds very useful @Camper6 Do you have to use a drill to install them? I am thinking of getting a rechargeable drill to put up some things.
Yes.drill and plugs to hold the screws. The Ryobi small one is great for household chores. You need a small level also. Drill one holle and put the plastic plug in. Then hold the shelf up with the bracket on and inser the screw . Then tighten it just enough to hold the shelf in place while you put the level on it till its level on the bubble.
Mark the spot for the next screw hole. Let the sheff down and drill the hole and plug it. Bring the shelf up to the hole and put the screw in. Tighten both screws. Finished. I will send a picture. It's much easier if you can get help holding up the shelf. You can also buy fancy brackets and attach them to shelf material and preprinted shelves. It's fun and not hard.shelf.jpg

It's curious, but there have been shortages of even bar soap in my area. I won't run out, but I find that I can't reliably find particular brands that I favor. Until things normalize, I have to buy what's available rather than what I'd prefer...

Thanks for those instructions and I would definitely need someone to help. I'm having problems with my wrist right now.

That seems to go with a lot of products.

I'm finding that the dollar stores have a much more varied product line available than the supermarkets when it comes to cleaning supplies.
That's good but I don't have a car and so I use online stores. I'm not having much of a problem with finding things there, though.

Are you familiar with this one? https://www.dollartree.com/
I've never shopped through their website, but their nearest brick-and-mortar has been my go-to place for years.. when I can get there.

I've been kinda disappointed with hollar.com, though- a few years ago it was great, but they've discontinued nearly everything I'd want.

I have more than enough soap ... Under my bathroom counter there must be about 50-60 bars .... Irish Spring, Dial and Caress. And I've got a big bottle of Dove liquid soap on the counter too .... so, it'll be a very long time before I think about buying any.

Now to have enough hand lotion to balance out all the hand washing.

I have Dove, too, but the bar form. I like it, it smells really good and is supposed to be moisturizing, too. I just started using it 2 days ago and it hasn't harmed my hands.
