So glad we have a good relationship with our daughter, especially now

We had a nice, long Facetime with our daughter tonight. She is our only child. We speak every night, these days, but tonight was full of laughter and fun. Most nightly conversations are good, although there is often nothing new to share, but tonight was especially full of laughter. I have always loved that our family has a great sense of humor, and finds the humor in a stressful situation. We stick together, thick and thin, and support each other. Sure, sometimes we're mad with each other, but not for long. The grandkids consider our house their second home, which I love. Astonishingly, they seem to know where everything is in the fridge, the pantry, my dresser drawers... LOL! Sorry, I think I'm rambling. I blame it on quarantine!

I have a great relationship with my daughter as well. My daughter and her family live about 5 hours from us and we are included in so many fun activities and holidays.
My grandsons have learned how to Facetime on there own. They are 8 and 12.
They call to show me the fish tank or tell me about a movie they saw and what they had for dinner.
It is so nice to see them almost everyday. It has been about 6 months since I've seen them in person but this is the next best thing.

I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter. We moved almost 2yrs ago to be closer to where she lives to be close to her and our youngest grandchild. My daughter is always stopping over after going shopping so me and my husband don't have to go to stores with all that is going on now. She worries about us all day. When she drops off the stuff she buys for us she doesn't even come into the house for fear of us catching any bugs from her. The only way I can describe her is that she is Perfect.
