So Happy for a Friend

I've posted pictures and threads about Roscar, the elderly Beagle we used to babysit for. He was such a sweetheart but developed Cushing's disease. His Daddy was almost crying in the supermarket telling me about having to put him down. Rest in peace poor baby. I looked into some of the rescue groups myself. My feeling is a new pet doesn't replace the one that died, but it can ease mourning having someone else to love.

Today I heard our friend got a bully girl. We'll have to go and meet her one day and bring a welcome treat How to describe Daddy? John Cena on enough lithium to stun an elephant. Also the sweetest, kindest guy you could ever meet. I'm so very happy for him. Just the right breed too...high energy and soft disposition.

Really yes...but I think his new baby will suit him even better. Sometimes we need a dog based on our personality. I had a Beagle that was too slow, he had to sniff every microbe. A Border Collie brighter than I will ever be. But Callie a perfect fit:love_heart:.
