So many music posts, very few dealing with the 50s music scene

Bret, I am 93 and there were so many terrific songs back then. It makes my heart sing to think a young man like you, 30 years my junior appreciates that music from back then. I am so glad you started this thread.

Me being a mere boy of nearly 89 😏, prefer those singers that were renowned for having good singing voices for romantic ballads, regardless of what era they were from, instead of the screaming and shouting with electric guitars called rock and roll. 😊

I could not agree more, Tim. Sadly, some of those shouters with electric guitars have a true musical background, I have learned, but choose to go with the flow of just making noise. As Bretrick has stated some of the music from later decades was good, but too far in between.
