The forecast is 40C today, my hubby is playing lawn bowls and hoping they call it off. Apparently there is a rule that if the temp reaches 38, they call it off, so hopefully he'll come home to the air conditioning. :) I made a curry so hoping it turns out ok, can never get my curries to taste as nice as the restaurants. lol

Now, I'm looking forward to finding a good movie on Netflix to watch tonight...the tv and news gets old..so onto the movies!
 
Today I was looking forward to my husband making us tacos, he did and they were really good! Now I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening and maybe watching a stand up comedy with hubby before lights out, nothing like having some laughs before going off to lala land. :)
 
My daughter and family came for a visit and will stay the weekend. We had a nice dinner and I had a nice long chat with my 13 year old grandson.
Tomorrow I'll chat with the younger one which will most likely include the subject of penguins which he is obsessed with.
They haven't been away from their home and made it nonstop to our home so I feel confident we all are safe from the virus as of now.

Don't know if you like Jeff Dunham the ventriloquist. He has several different themed shows on Netflix. For us those were good entertainment due to the characters & humor.
 
I'm looking forward to watching more of the show I started watching yesterday on Netflix. Probably going to be binge watching it.
 
We are expecting several inches of snow this afternoon. I always enjoy a good snowfall if we don't have to go out in it.

Jake Reichbart has some new jazz guitar lessons on his site which I always purchase as they become available. Today, he has 6 new ones which I have contacted him for download purchase.

I intend to complete the online 8 hour defensive driving course today so I get that 10% discount on my car insurance.

My son texted me early this morning to ask if I wanted a "surprise" visit from him, my dil and of course my grandson. I hate surprises, but I pulled myself together, cleaned up a bit and am hanging out here with you guys until they arrive which should be around 11. Hate surprises, love my grandson.
