With all the rioting & looting in the streets ........ if there is no uptick in the reports of cv19 ? I mean with all these folks, just inches from each other & in mass . If there are no more cases announced ? Kinda shoots a hole in "social distance" idea IMO.

Prior to the protesting, our infection rate had dropped from around 8% of people tested in our county to about 2%.

The 2% infection rate has been holding steady during phase 2 of our state's reopening plan and next Friday we are scheduled to enter phase 3 if the numbers remain stable.

It will be interesting to see if the protesting moves the needle higher or if things stay about the same.

Social distancing and wearing masks makes sense to me and certainly does no harm so why try to shoot a hole in it.

It will be a couple weeks at least to get an idea. Possibly the only saving grace is that they're outside. Will be interesting.
