But it is still mci. I do not want to take any further tests. They are awful.A score of 21 out of 30 is not bad. According to Wikipedia "a score of 26 or over is considered to be normal. In a study, people without cognitive impairment scored an average of 27.4; people with MCI scored an average of 22.1" But note the word 'average'. Thus I wouldn't be shocked by this result.

21 out of 30 isn't bad Tara. My husband would have failed this test when he was in his 30's. He had a business for 30 years and many years ago, he had a lunch with a couple of clients. He sat there for over an hour across the table. Two hours later, he met one of them again, passing in the hall of a tower and couldn't for the life of him, remember where he'd seen them....they looked familiar..... so your 21 seems pretty good for an older person.I have to take a moca memory test . I am so scared, because I took it online and I only got 21 out of 30.
That word recall comes after a lot of hard questions. I do not see how you can retain words that way.
