Publisher's Clearing House has upped their $5,000 a week to $7,000 a week. A few years ago, a teacher, who I'm sure was a senior citizen and lives in my hometown actually won the $5,000 a week prize. She couldn't be found at home so they tracked her down at school and surprised her with the fanfare. It was nice to see. My DIL actually knows her. I entered a year or so ago and of course never expect to win. But if I did, I'd share my fortune with my son, who is currently working long hours, 7 days a week. He would be able to stop working such long hours. Also with my honorary daughter who is his ex and mother of my two youngest grandchildren, as well as with a friend who is having a really hard time financially. I'd also contribute much more to my favorite charities and my investments. There would probably be an oceanfront luxury condo in there somewhere. I could sublet this apartment for a profit. I would travel more and for longer durations.
