if you have them -let me know what you think about them ? I am meant to buy 2 types Friday for outside the door '
I live rural so no lights reflecting in my garden ' and like to see if my cats are waiting to come in ' my big light I has has gone
so this way its cheaper ' less bother ….

I have them and love them. We live in a rural country area with a long driveway so these types of lights really help find the driveway. Plus they look very classy too. I bought mine from Costco.

What sort of lights do you have, Keesha? When I read toffee's post, I thought she was talking about the little garden path lights sold in the home centers, but in your neck of the woods I would think those would be totally buried after the first good snowfall. Do you have something that mounts higher up?

No I use those also but I bring them in during the winter and put up poles with reflective lights for the driveway.
These lights are about 23 / 24 inches tall and are more durable than the average solar lights. It’s a great idea to mount them up but I haven’t done that just yet.

Good idea is to bring them in during a power outage..

We have a solar light on each fence post in front of our house, so I think that's about 20 lights. We don't have a police force up here so the Country Sheriff and occasionally the State police come up. A County Sheriff told my husband a few years ago that they really appreciated the solar lights we have out front as it helped them to know exactly where they are up here in these mountains full of narrow winding roads. Since then a lot of the neighbors have put up solar lights so it helps a lot.

If I move into town, into the scary big city, I think I might put a solar light outside each of my bed room windows or any secluded spot.
