Some People Are Spiteful for No Reason At All, How About You?

Sorry guys, my computer was having problems the day I posted this thread and it ended up posting 3 times. I removed the other two, and apologize to anyone who replied to them.

I try to get out of parking spaces as quickly as I can, but I HATE it when people start honking as soon as I've closed the door. At least gimme time to put on my seat belt before you start honking! I also hate it when someone is waiting for the place and they've crowded so close behind the spot that it's almost impossible to get out.

Wow Butterfly, I never had somebody start honking at me, that would really make me angry. Sounds like parking lot rage, unbelievable!

No, problem SeaBreeze. I didn't say this at the time, but I was wondering if it was some kind of a social experiment to see what we would do. :) I know lots of us have accidentally posted twice sometimes.

I park away as far as possible and walk to the shop etc. However, it never ceases to amaze me how when, I come back to the van it is pretty much boxed in the parking spot. Yet other places are free which is annoying to me. First reason I park so far.. I try to avoid those who think that when they open their car, door they can slam it against mine causing a ding. It is so disrespectful of ones property. I might own a VW van from 1990. But it looks good for a reason I care about it and do my due diligence to keep it that way. My temper rises each time I walk back to see the herd mentality, I feel like yelling at them. lol. I do suffer from road rage. However, in my defense lol I keep it to myself and yes yell in the quiet of my own vehicle. But if someone does something to me that is dangerous driving. I will shout out expletives and yes flip the bird to them.. sigh.. I can honestly say I think for that split second, what joy it would be to see them caught by a cop or have a flat tire up the road. Karma baby. Now as to the second it is healthier to park and walk if you can still do it. I never use the van to drive a place I can walk to, the exercise and fresh air is just so wonderful. I am very blessed to be able to get around with my feet..

An example of stranger kindness and karma. We go to the same supermarket every week. Last visit and we got behind this clown who was tabulating his order down to the penny. The poor cashier was flustered and he's loudly arguing that she overcharged him 10 cents on each can of fruit. The store is ready to close and I think he could let go of his thirty cents. Then he got out of line to argue with a manager.

I always do the bagging. Might as well help the cashier, they work hard enough. As I bagged I whispered to this girl " It's ridiculous...he's got North Face head to foot...but he has to fight for his thirty cents". She smiled and shook her head. When we were done we had two carts. I always take the carts out and load the car. Hubby doesn't move so good and it's just faster. But it was nice. I heard a gentleman's voice offering to push the second car.

Sometimes it's just a simple gesture...holding open a door, offering to push a cart, picking up a set of dropped keys for someone.
