Woke up to my Chinese alarm clock. Picked my head off my Indonesian pillow. Hit the floor in my Chinese slippers.
Stumbled to the kitchen to make my coffee. Got out my Japanese percolator. Boiled the water for my oatmeal on my Chinese electric stove.
Made some toast in my Chinese toaster, At least the bread was made here. Oh wait, the flour came from Mexico.
Added sugar,(Brazil) to the coffee. then, some milk. finally, something American...thanks cows.
Turned on my tv (Japan) to watch the news.
price of crude was up again.(speculators)
price of corn through the roof. (Ditto)
price of coffee through the roof.(ditto)
price of all food, up up up
packaging shrinking daily.
diesel price up, truckers pass price on to retailers.
Retailers pass price to consumers...(us)
Govt says no real cost of living increase.
Finish breakfast and turn on my dell computer. assembled in USA w/Chinese made parts.
Time to get dressed in my Walmart bought clothes, made in Vietnam, Pakistan, India, china, and other exotic places around the globe.
Get to work... got my pink slip. sorry, your job has been out-sourced. How could this happen????
