Some very promising news on Alzheimer's prevention and reversal

Awkward is my Superpower
Last night I watched "The Last Alzheimer Patient", a documentary hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN. (I have great respect for Dr. Gupta - CNN, less so, but I'm not one to throw the baby out with the bathwater.) It will likely be broadcast frequently over then next few weeks and will stream on MAZ beginning June 18.

This deep dive into Alzheimer's discusses current research and clinical trials showing dramatic results in delaying, avoiding and/or reversing early Alzheimer's.

Nothing good comes easy, and preserving or improving our cognitive function is no exception.

My takeaway on the steps this program:
Diet: Whole Food Plant Based, i.e., very healthy vegan. So despite Twinkies and berries both being vegan, opt for the berries.
Exercise: Lots of it, including high intensity
Yoga/Meditation: An hour per day
Socialization: Frequent
Reading and other intellectual stimulation: Frequent

When Dr. Dean Ornish's clinical trials report (on which this is partially based ) is released next month, I'm eager to read it.
