I have had it, it has a very mild or light flavor. It gets flavor from what you put on it, herbs, spices. I like it but gosh is it hard to cut them in half to cook. My son used to weight train. He had periods where he would load(gain weight) and cut(cut fat and carbs) He liked it when he had to cut, he could eat a lot of it, be full and still lose or reduce his body fat. The other veggie he liked was cauliflower, same thing, lots of herbs and spices.
