Something Free Or Almost Free

I can get in all of our museums and art galleries for free... ( a;though not at the moment )... I can get a free London evening newspaper , (The evening Standard) and a free London daily paper ( The Metro) which carries all the news of the paid for tabloids..

2 free concerts each week for six weeks during the summer plus a free 4th of July concert by the Central Ohio Symphony. Several free parades each year. The local art museum is free and the Columbus Art Museum is free on Sundays. Free tours of our local Depression era farm/house which is part of our Preservation Parks system. Many free events, and performances at Ohio Wesleyan University. Free Tai Chi classes at the local library. Free art and computer classes at the local library (varied throughout the year). We are fortunate to live in a country that is overflowing with stuff!

My little apartment is full of things that were free or cost almost nothing.

Sometimes time, patience and imagination are more important than money.

Back in the 80's, we furnished our entire first home [every room] for $50, granted a few used items were donated. We loved the stuff and never worried about someone scratching it, or worse yet, stealing it. Our first big purchase was a water bed.

Sounds like me and my late hub many, many years ago. Our big purchase was a water bed, too. Boy did I love that bed!

The morning sun, birds chirping their musical tones, walking in the park, smiles & waves from my neighbors. On the side that has dollar value free streaming of movies & TV programing, flyers from grocery stores showing price reduction on what as of late might be available by the time we go shopping.

As the saying goes, the best things in life are free.
