Something happened today that defies logic

I was a a cricket match today inside the clubrooms.
I went to the bar to get a drink, one of the club officials asked the bar person if there was a pencil eraser anywhere.
Barperson looked for one. "No, I can not find one"
An hour later I am walking around the oval and what do I come across?
A pencil eraser.
No way should this have happened. Defies logic

I once was walking through the town center where all the stores were, and accidentally dropped a £10 note, which was a lot to me at the time. Around five minutes later, I noticed and backtracked to see if I could find it (with little hope, I might add). Yet there it was, with people walking by it, laying in the street.

Those were the days.

My son hung up his wedding suit on a post in NYC while he leaned over to tie his shoe. He proceeded to forget his suit. When he returned to look for it, at least 15 minutes if not more, it was still hanging where he placed it.
