Sometimes life is truly wonderful.

Sometimes life knocks the snot out of us and other times it's wonderful. Mine is in a very positive cycle right now and I'm feeling blessed so want to share.

My daughter is an enigma, piercings and tattoos but has four degrees. She works as a scientist for a prestigious university and told me yesterday they offered her the opportunity to participate in their Ph.D. program. I am so very proud of her! Then she told me her and her fiance are going on a heavy metal cruise called 70 Tons of Metal, Miami to the Bahamas. Academia to heavy metal, what a trip she is.

Ten years ago in my mind I was planning my sons funeral, I was sure his drug and alcohol use was going to kill him, and he did OD from herion cut with fentenoyl. That was his bottom. Right now he and his wife are skiing in the Alps! What a turn around! Married to a wonderful girl, they are enjoying life, traveling and responsibly planning a future. He's a hard worker now living a clean and healthy life, I am very proud.

My sister has been dealing with cancer and just received the news she is cancer free!

Then there's me....just finished converting my horse barn to a work shop, big job but I got it done. Had Covd but finally over that. Last night I saw a meteorite flame out as it blew thru earths atmosphere, a rare sight but the second time I have seen it happen. Then this morning driving to the gym I came across a coyote walking down the road in my lane. I see coyotes often so not unusual, but I had to slow to a crawl before he moved to the other side of the road, then he stood still and I swear we locked eyeballs as I rolled past. It was almost like recognizing and acknowledging each other as kindred spirits.

Sorry to rattle on, but it's nice to feel good about life and I can't help but gush a little.lol

It's heartwarming to read such a positive post of thankfulness. So often we forget to count our blessings, I know I do.
Enjoy the good vibes, hopefully it will continue to surround you.:)

Thanks for posting. It's wonderful to hear good news about good things. It sure contrasts with the usual "doom and gloom" that passes for nighty news on the TV or newspaper. Glad to hear that things are good for you and your family.
