Sound of Music Live

Did anyone see 'Sound of Music Live' starring Carrie Underwood and Steven Moyer? And If so, what did you think, that is compared to the original?

I really don`t think any live play can compare with the original .I loved it so much ..
but good on them for giving it a try .. some might love live plays but not for me..

I also enjoyed the play. I think it was almost impossible not to compare the movie and the play, knowing all the while this was comparing apples to oranges. I was all prepared to criticize Carrie Underwood, all the while knowing she was not the actor Julie Andrews had been. I also had doubts about Carrie's country singing style in this play. All in all, I think she did she did herself proud. I almost didn't watch this play but I'm glad I did.
