South Padre here we come!

We are taking a trip to South Padre Island here in Texas. Six hours away. We are meeting friends there. Friends we have known and loved for 35 years. Friends we have not seen for a year because of the pandemic. Friends whose kids think of me as a second mom. And my daughter thinks of our friends as family also. Because, at the end of the day, we truly are family. There is going to be hugging involved. And wine. Possibly Margaritas. And bird watching, an outdoor activity. I need this.

My daughter lived in Corpus Christi for a couple of years. We visited Padre Island and went horseback riding on the beach.
It was quite an experience. So different from New Jersey.

We have not been there in ages and we live only an hour or so away. South Padre Island, TX love the longest causeway run!!!
