A space conference censored the name of the first man in space-Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gargarin.

I get the negative attitude toward Russia but last century this guy was the first man in space. There's no way around that and it should be noted who that man was regardless of his citizenship, associations, affiliations,politics etc.

I agree. That is taking things too far. The first woman in space was also Russian...let's hope they don't disregard her either. Blanking current Russians is one thing...denying history is another.
