Speaking the Truth is Dangerous

You say it's common sense but When you're punished for common sense you know society is doomed. The times we live in. Outrage because of a mild observation based on experience. You shouldn't have to apologise for speaking the truth.

Probably because some women can lift as much as the men in a medical situation. But yes you shouldn't hafta apologize for speaking the truth but it's considered discriminatory anymore in the work place.

Having read the article, he didn’t cross the line, imo. All that should matter is that the person can do the job with the skillset required. This really has become a problem in police, fire and paramedic services. There are some men that don’t have the skills and they don’t get hired. Because some women aren’t physically able to do what is required, they’re placed in less-active positions. If your house is on fire and your children are in danger, who do you want to attempt to do the rescue. There are lots of women who are stronger and more competent than many men.

The implication is that ANY man is much stronger than ANY woman. First , as a Registered Nurse, I worked with women for years. Most were quite capable of doing the physical part of nursing as most men were. I don't buy the idea that women are these frail, weak, wilting flowers. And just because he's a guy does not make him Superman, either.
Secondly, it was a politically stupid, jackass thing for a politician to say, DUMB, DUMB DUMB!!!!!!!!!!
