This was my day today in photos... after I'd done some gardening then taken the car to be washed.. I ended up in the park, where the circus had just set up...

Nice photos and look at that great sky! The weather has been so lovely today, hope it continues for a while 🤞 :)

Oh wow! love the little lamb. Looks like you had a great day :)
LO...no this is all on my doorstep even driving over to the larger town to get the car washed, going to the range and buying a few bits and visiting the circus,... then driving home, taking the photos of the woods ( right on my doorstep) and the village.. in total I was only out 2 hours..

we've had hot weather all week... I think it's going to be a Hottie McHottie at the weekend.. I hope it's cloudy tomorrow so I'm not tempted to go out, I really need a day to let my bones recover after being out every single day this week.. :D

..and then after I got home.. I took delivery of some new plants.. which I'll plant in the garden tomorrow...

I am the same! If the weather is nice, I want to be out enjoying it. Rainy days are for housework and boring stuff :)

...zactly.. now that wasn't a problem before soon2Bex was around because we'd go off and do stuff , drive down to the coast.. share driving and so on... go to the pub...now it's a little bit different..

I liked the picture after the circus. It appears to be a little village maybe? If you would come over here to my part of the U.S., it would be hard to find a circus, but the carnival season isn’t far off. Starting around mid June through early July many of the small boroughs in my area have a fireman’s or sportsman’s carnival.

They are a lot of fun. Also, beginning in another 6 weeks, our sweet corn and other vegetables will start coming in. Right now, we get our fruits and vegetables from the south, like Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. We go to a farmer’s market, which is open every Tuesday, but we don’t go every week, and there we get very fresh fruits and vegetables. In July, our peaches will be coming in and I know I am biased, but I think our peaches are better than Georgia’s. Georgia is known as “The Peach State.” That’s what they think.

Here’s where we go—. Root’s Country Market | Manheim, PA. Great Amish pastries available also.

All the pictures, the woods, the sheep, the village pond, the bridge over the stream , etc.. are in my village... the Circus is in the next large town where I'd been shopping earlier..and is there for the next week, it goes there every year..

ETA. yes the picture after the circus is our village duck pond.. the houses in the following picture are next to the pond

Love all these photos, @hollydolly ! Thanks! Please share photos of your plants as they grow! Inspiring!

Wow, Holly, I am blown away by the lovely photos.

How did the bluebells get into the woods? Naturally, or were they planted? I've been in plenty of woods and forests, and I have never seen a sight like that. I have read about them in books set in England, though. It was great to see what I have always imagined.

Thank you.

Thank you for enjoying them , very kind. ☺️ .. as for the bluebells they are indigenous plants to the Uk woodlands...

I found a link that explains it all for you.... also what doesn't come across in the photos is the glorious scent from them when you walk into the woods. They will be died off by the end of May...
