Spring Maintenance Checklist

Now's the time to:

• Remove any debris that has accumulated through the winter and
make sure there are no signs of damage to the gutters.

• Examine roof shingles and the exterior of the chimney for damage that may have occurred during he winter.

• Trim the trees. There can be strong spring/summer winds that can loosen tree branches to cause damage to your home and injure others.

• Schedule an air conditioner spring cleaning.
Change filters monthly.

Any further suggestions?

Here we go again..for your review...add to your "to do list"🤗

my spring maintenance list is everything !!
but I will try and do the small jobs, and get workmen in for the rest so an expensive time for us !!
with poor hubby getting depressed and frustrated....saying " I should be doing this " These are my Jobs To do "
bless him .....

I need a new pair of Driveway gates, they are on my list this year , did the fencing and had the pointing on the Chimmney done last year .
Ive also noticed a pot drain outside is in need of repair,

As an apartment dweller, I removed the curtains and other insulation from the balcony door. And shoveled the snow off the balcony. I'll need to clean the balcony railing, so I can hang blankets outdoors.

I might clean the windows, or that might fall by the wayside. I'll need to rent or borrow a ladder for one of the windows.

Dismantle, clean, and store the humidifier.

By about May, I expect to have enough energy for things I haven't bothered with, such as cleaning boot trays and closets.

Thank goodness my upstairs neighbor didn't feed the deer this winter. (Someone must have had a talk with him.) Last spring the parking lot was covered in deer poop. An 83-year-old homeowner neighbor swept it up.

Yes, as a 'homeowner'.. there's always something to ..take care of..do!

I don't do lists, but its pretty easy to look around and see what needs doing, lots of stuff.

That I can think of far I have trimmed trees, removed a lot of dead from the gardens, and restored gravel that was rearranged by a lot of winter snow plowing, and picked up a lot of stuff from the yard as the snow is disappearing. Probably just scratched the surface...

My big thing is repairing the porch banister that my dog destroyed, and re stain all the porches.
Have to wait for better weather though.

Take the mulch off around some perennials.

Get the stuff stored in the shed out.

Uncover the barbeque and sell it.
