Spring Time - Who else is ready?

Actually I like winter except when he roads are bad. I like spring. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons. The problem with spring and fall, they don't last long enough. Summers my least favorite season. I digress...one of my favorite parts of spring besides the usually nice weather and temperature, are the flowers blooming, the trees getting their new leaves and the birds, squirrels, and Gods other creatures coming out of hiding. I have a creek on my property that is lined with daffodils. They are out in full force now an I love it when they come out. Unfortunately, they don't last long.

this year ours wasn't colder, but OMG I can't remember a winter with so much rain. We live in the driest part of the UK, so rain for weeks on end is very unusual
I told my wife that we should consider staying all winter in Florida next winter. However, their winter this year wasn’t typical. I spoke to my neighbors and they were saying that it was unusually cool to cold this past winter.

yes I noticed some peope on this forum who live in Florida saying the same thing. It seems like the weather is changing everywhere out of the noorm. Like here this week in March when we tradditonally have very cold weather and sometimes snow... ... our weather has been like summer...

I have blooms on my tomato plants already. Not sure what's going to become of them, but they're there.
Most of my tomato plants are starting to regrow. I had just left them in their pots during the winter and when I noticed new growth I pruned them and cut off all the dead stuff in the way.

Up until 5 years ago, I umpired college baseball. We would go to Florida the last week of February and the first two weeks of March. We would either go to Ft. Myers or over to the east coast in Homestead. We did that for probably 20 years and the weather always cooperated. We could count on the temps being in the 70’s to mid 80’s.
