Squirrel Appreciation Day - January 21st

Like the little vermin when they stay away from my bird feeders.
It's turned into a battle of Wills and I understand why they target them.
They are very creative when they are on the attack, fun to watch them figuring things out...
I put out food for them at the base of the tree they nest in and we've come to an understanding, as they say.

As long as everyone is fed, I got no problem with them.

If I had a dollar for every one of those critters I have seen dead on the highway, I'd be quite wealthy. I think they are quite stupid animals. They run accross the road, and half way accross, they stop. It's like they changed their mind, or forgot where they were going. I'm yelling, "Get out of the road you stupid squirrel!" No wonder so many don't make it safely to the other side. Plus, birds of prey, are always looking for them.
