SQUIRREL!!!

was opening door to my patio to work on my "back 40" container garden plants. all of a sudden, big commotion off to my right. then i see a squirrel walk under the space/gap under door to storage area. there's NO food in there per se but plenty of cardboard boxes. gap is big enough that the vermin didn't even have to duck. looks like everybody has same gap?? didn't open the door and intend to just wait for maintenance to show up!

that's what i'm afraid of. storage room full of cardboard boxes. some broken down from when i moved in 3 years ago... "good" boxes that i paid for. boxes that stuff i bought came in... that means probably decent amount of styrofoam that may have already been reduced to little packing peanuts. luckily NOTHING of any real value or irreplaceable.
