Stamp on Kitchen Counter

At first I thought it was a postage stamp, but it was a commemorative seal issued by the National Wildlife Federation. A little research revealed that this was issued in 1984. My main thought is "Where did it come from?" It just appeared on the kitchen counter.

Probably was stuck on the underside of one of the cabinets and just fell off due to the accumulation of grease.

I would say it's a holiday message from a mouse with an agenda.

Those types of "stamps" were profit making seals you were supposed to attach to Xmas cards, etc. Lots of nonprofit organizations did that. The seal says it was from the 1984 batch of seals, by the NWF. Most probably the seal fell off of U.S. mail you got yesterday. Since the the seal is 34 years old, I assume the letter to which the stamp was attached, was sent via U.S. Postal "Priority Mail".

(BTW, if anyone but me, cares. My package that was sent, via USPS, Nov 24,2020, is still "IN TRANSIT". Haven't gotten it, yet)
